Rapidly reproducible battery operated ventilator
Ref No – TR1001
Snapshot:
Due to sudden rise in demand of ventilators a wide gap has been created in supplying and manufacturing ventilators the project is a initiative to fill the gap between the supply and demand of these ventilators by producing ventilators that can be rapidly manufactured.
Technology:
Solar energy-based electricity backup system.
Description:
Ventilator is a machine to provide oxygen into the lungs and to remove carbon dioxide when people are too sick to breathe on their own. Covid 19 is mainly a respiratory disease and for any critically ill Covid–19 patients, access to a ventilator could be a matter of life or death. Many intensive care unit (ICU) ventilators are required to keep people breathing. For which hospitals across the world now urgently need these kits. India a country of 1.3 billion people and do not have even half million ventilators. In the present scenario of corona it is a very grim situation. In this technology era, one should not die because of lack of this facility. We are trying to fill the gaps by providing a ventilator, which can be rapidly reproduced.
Potential Application:
- Health care
Benefit / Advantage of Technology:
- Cheap
- Rapid production
- Reliable
