Finovista and Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) are proud to collaborate with FSR Global, the Delegation of the European Union to India, and UN Women India on The Energy Dozen, a flagship initiative by FSR Global that celebrates and elevates women professionals shaping India’s energy future.
The Energy Dozen aims to spotlight inspiring women leaders working across the energy ecosystem, highlighting their achievements, leadership journeys, and contributions to India’s transition towards cleaner, more sustainable energy systems. MECS India launched the Women in Modern Energy Cooking (WMEC)—a platform dedicated to mentoring, networking, and capacity-building for women in the modern energy space. Through WMEC, MECS India supports the Energy Dozen programme by strengthening visibility, collaboration, and leadership opportunities for women in clean energy. WMEC’s commitment to bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, field practitioners, and community leaders is clearly reflected in the diversity of this year’s cohort.
The programme officially commenced on 20 November 2025 with an orientation and onboarding session, where the cohort was introduced to the programme structure, milestones, and year-long engagement plan. The session also featured introductions to the 2025–26 participants—women who bring rich experience and diverse perspectives from across the energy sector.
