Virtual
Felicitation Ceremony and Exhibition of the National Bamboo Innovation
Challenge 2022, was held on 28th October 2022 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm IST. The
Exhibition was live after 12:00 pm. Finovista managed National Bamboo Innovation Challenge 2022 on behalf of the Foundation
for MSME Clusters (FMC). The programme was supported by the Office of the
Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India. The Programme objective was to take innovators and startups to the next level of their
innovation journey with respect to the product, market, technology, and investment
readiness.
FMC
has been implementing a project: “Promote Bamboo MSME Clusters for Sustainable
Development" in 9 states (Viz: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya,
Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand & Madhya Pradesh) with
the overall objective of promoting bamboo as a sustainable resource and
generate green jobs. FMC is implementing this project in partnership with SIDBI
(Small Industrial Development bank of India), CEMCA (Commonwealth educational
media centre for Asia), and CBS (Copenhagen Business School). The project is
designed to help the local community and other stakeholders collaborate for the
promotion of a green economy, sustainable growth, economic prosperity, and
poverty reduction in the MSME sector along with the mitigation of climate
change.
The
Results of the Top 15 Applicants shortlisted after the successful completion of
Initial Screening and Final Evaluation which was announced on 28th
October 2022.
The
Result Announcement and virtual felicitation session was followed by an
inaugural of a two-day Virtual Exhibition on Let’s Startup Platform being
organized to celebrate the journey of all the entrepreneurs associated with
this programme and to recognize their efforts and participation in this
innovation challenge
