Friday arrived at Finovista’s office, carrying a sense of anticipation and excitement in the air. As the doors swung open, a tantalizing aroma filled the workspace, courtesy of the all-new Prestige double Induction cooktop. The sleek appliance basked in its glory, surprising everyone with its cutting-edge features. The time had come to put this modern wonder to the test, and the Finovista team couldn’t wait for the culinary adventure that awaited them.
With the induction cook stove’s grand arrival, the team decided to include a sweet dish in their menu for the very first time. The tantalizing lineup read: Halwa (a mouthwatering sweet dish), Aaloo Dum (a delectable vegetable delight), and the beloved Chapatis, representing the traditional charm of home-cooked meals.
Adding to the excitement of the day, Finovista was honored with the presence of Dr. Nick Rousseau, International Liaison Manager, MECS Programme, who was on his India visit for concluding strategic meetings with Indian Stakeholders Dr. Nick, was quite excited to experience the live demonstration activity and congratulated Finovista team for working on the idea of eCooking demonstrations and making them a Friday fun activity. As the team assembled, adorned in aprons and hats, the energy meters stood ready, eager to capture the impressive performance of the Induction stove. Spoons and spatulas were at the ready, and the countdown to cooking perfection had begun. The Finovista team embarked on a culinary escapade, starting with the exquisite Halwa. With patience as their guiding principle, they allowed the dish to simmer and infuse its flavors for a delightful 15 minutes. The anticipation grew as they saved this sweet treat for a tantalizing taste later. Next on the menu were the Chapatis, and the induction cook stove delivered impeccable results, puffing rotis quickly and effortlessly.. Next was Aaloo Dum on the menu, a very well-known vegetarian curry dish. A good blend of flavors, smooth gravy texture could be achieved with the even heating from the Induction.
As the last dish was prepared and the delectable spread adorned the table, the Finovista team’s faces glowed with pride and satisfaction. The dishes were served, and with each bite, the team savored the fruits of their labor – food cooked to perfection with the energy-efficient and health-conscious eCooking device.
Cooking with a double cooktop induction was both convenient and easy. The device was fully automated, with autocook, power, and temperature control functions in each of the cooktops, giving flexibility of usage to the user. Further, with one cooktop of 2000 Watts and another of 1200 Watts, the team could both manage fast and slow cooking balance at the same time. To efficiently use the device, and ensure minimum time and energy consumed, the sauté cook was done at high temperature, while the dishes were then shifted to another cooktop for slow cooking, to ensure the perfect blend of flavors and requisite texture. Further, the team could experience the ease of cooking on a double cooktop induction, quite similar to cooking on their gas stoves. The team generally monitors the energy
consumed in these demonstration activities, but could not as the current energy meters were of 6 amp, incompatible with this device which has a total of 3200 watts.
What more? the team could enjoy cooking right under the fan and with office air conditioners on, a completely smokeless and flameless cooking experience. This also helps in bringing down the temperature in the kitchen, is energy efficient, and is definitely a smarter way to cook. in the Even heating, cost efficiency, and reduced cooking time, just added to it. Like always, the eCooking fun helped in breaking the gender stereotypes around cooking, with boys in the team contributing equally in the activity. The induction cook stove exemplified the shift towards modern energy-based cooking. Its innovative technology not only reduced cooking time but also minimized energy consumption, making it an energy-efficient addition to the kitchen.
