Under the MoU, the collaboration between Finovista and NIAS aims to address the challenges and enablers of clean cooking solutions while identifying plausible scenarios for a successful energy transition. Both organizations recognize the importance of clean cooking and the potential impact it can have on the environment and the lives of millions of people in India. The MoU will enable the parties to study the global best practices and regulations concerning clean cooking and use the expertise available in the two organizations in working out the strategies for the common objectives in the said domain in India.
As two organizations are actively engaged in multiple domains of research, consulting, capacity building, technology, and innovation in the thematic areas of Energy, Environment, Digital Transformation, Technology, Innovation, Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Finance, the MoU can be further extended to other programmes based on mutual suitability and consent in future.
