The dedicated Clean Cooking Pavilion, established in celebration of the 22nd foundation day of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, provided a platform for showcasing innovative clean cooking solutions. MECS in India in association with the bureau of energy efficiency organised the clean cooking technology showcase on 1st March 2024 at Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

Objective:

The primary objective of the event was to spotlight advancements in clean cooking technology and promote awareness about sustainable cooking solutions. Through live demonstrations and presentations, attendees had the opportunity to explore innovative products and solutions offered by industry leaders. The participation of industry partners underscored their commitment to advancing clean cooking technology and contributing to India's energy efficiency goals.

Activities:

The presence of dignitaries, including Minister Shri Raj Kumar Singh from the Ministry of Power and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India, added prestige to the event. Inaugurating and touring the eCooking exhibition, Minister Singh reaffirmed the government's support for initiatives promoting clean cooking and renewable energy. The event showcased the eCooking devices and clean cooking solutions to more than 200+ participants. The esteemed industry partners including Indian Oil Corp Limited (IOCL), H.Q LAMPS MANUFACTURING CO PRIVATE LIMITED, TTK Prestige Ltd, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), Smith Innovative Appliances Private Limited (SIAPL) / Smithcucina, and Ruchi Telecom Pvt. Ltd showed their active participation in highlighting cutting-edge advancements in clean cooking technology. The event not only provided a platform for showcasing advancements in clean cooking technology but also fostered collaboration and dialogue among stakeholders, ultimately driving momentum towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
